Text Box: Laptop Computers: We provide the latest laptop PC’s installed with the prompting software “Windigi”. All have Windows XP installed with MS Office. They are “memory stick” friendly but also take script data from 3.5” floppy disc or CD. Text Box: Hand Controller: This is used to vary the speed of the text as it scrolls. Particularly useful in rehearsals, the hand controller runs both forward and reverse and also features an instant “top of text” button. The Hand controller uses the Parallel port of the computer. Text Box: Scan Converter: This small unit converts the VGA computer signal into PAL or NTSC for use with video only monitors.

Motorised Poles. For occasions where the presentation involves more than one speaker, particularly if they are of different heights. The motorised poles are remotely controlled and can be set during rehearsals, heights stored and re-called for each presenter.

 

Bespoke 15” and Sharp 13” LCD flat panel monitors. The latest high contrast LCD monitors can be used in the conference mode set up or as stand alone “confidence” monitors

Monitor Base, Pole and Glass. The metal base holds the LCD monitor and adjustable metal pole in position. At the top of the Pole a bracket holds the reflective glass plate in position. The height of the glass is adjustable between 1 and 1.9 metres.

On-Camera kit.

Used for video and film work, the on camera unit is fixed onto the camera tripod. The script is relayed from the LCD flat panel via a reflective one way mirror positioned in front of the camera lens. Our On-Camera Units cater for every combination of platform and camera, from on-the-shoulder ENG systems to the biggest studio pedestals. We have 13” and 15” available.

 

All of our prompting systems include a back up PC and controller which allows two notebook computers to be scrolled simultaneously and in sync.

 

Printers: All systems come with a laser or bubble jet printer for those essential copies for the client.

 

We support safe working practices on-site.

 

We offer full Health and Safety documentation and Risk Assessment where necessary.

 

 

NB: All systems include FREE back up LCD monitor, hand controller, scan converter and importantly, a second Laptop running synchronously with the main machine.
